The Mia Sutphin Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in memory of Mia Helene Sutphin. Today, Mia's spirit and good work continues through the foundation, as we strive to support programs on the front lines of caring for children in serious need and their families. We are focused on direct healthcare and health outreach with a particular interest in homelessness.
The Mia Sutphin Foundation was established in 2002, in the hopes that Mia’s humanitarian spirit may live on and so that her lasting impact on all those whom she cared. With Mia as our example, we ask, “What can we do to help others?” Mia Sutphin Foundation is just one of the ways we hope to ensure that Mia’s good works and empathy for others continue for years to come.
Mia Sutphin Foundation has distributed 100 grants to over a dozen organizations in the over 18 years, spanning from the USA, India and Africa. While the children and their families can see an immediate impact from these grants, there are long term benefits and these children grow up to have families of their own.

We distributed 100 grants to organizations, including organizations in -Baltimore, Philadelphia, Massachusetts, Cleveland OH, Washington DC, and as far as Kenya and India.
USA, INDIA, AND AFRICA
While it is hard to quantify the exact number of children impacted by these grants, the numbers continue to rise. The children who benefit from these grants grow into adults. The impact continues to multiply.
